The increasing need for precise surface cleaning techniques in diverse industries has spurred considerable investigation into laser ablation. This research specifically compares the effectiveness of pulsed laser ablation for the removal of both paint layers and rust oxide from ferrous substrates. We noted that while both materials are vulnerable to
